Conferences
In March 2010, Duncan was a speaker at the Arts Activated National Conference in Sydney, Australia; conducted by Accessible Arts. Duncan spoke regarding his experiences as a vision-impaired furniture designer.
Scholarships and Prizes
Duncan was awarded a 12 month scholarship with Designed Objects Tasmania (DOT) for 2011, supported by Arts Tasmania. Read more.
Duncan was a finalist in the National Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award 2011.
In 2011, Duncan was awarded the Bi-Annual Tasmanian Ministers Youth Arts Award, courtesy of Arts Tasmania; this enabled him to do a 3 week mentorship in November 2011 with the internationally renowned David Trubridge in New Zealand.
